Project 19-1156 - November 3, 2026 update
Street affected: William Street and Ellen Street
Project update
As part of the Flow | Central Brampton Program, Peel Region has been replacing the watermain along Main Street North. The watermain at the end of your street currently has a dead end and will be extended into a loop.
This work is required to improve water circulation and continue providing you with high-quality water.
Construction schedule
Construction is planned to start early November 2026 and finish in late November 2026. These dates may change due to weather and other unexpected events. All work is warrantied for two years from the completion date.
Contractor working hours
The work will be completed by Sam Rabito Construction Ltd. under contract to Peel Region. Working hours are from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., Monday to Friday. These hours are consistent with local municipal bylaws and help shorten the amount of time construction is in your neighborhood.
Traffic and parking
We may need to temporarily close roads or reduce traffic to a single lane. If this is needed, we will place signs giving directions. On-street parking will be reduced when we are working on your street.
