the Region's mandate to provide cost-effective services. Hundreds of
millions of dollars in public funds flow through the Corporation of
The Regional Municipality of Peel each year. Finance brings together
the resources and the expertise needed to ensure that Peel residents
receive the maximum benefit from the money available.
Triple-A Credit Rating
The Regional Municipality of Peel is rated as one of the strongest
Triple-A rated municipalities in Canada. Our balance
sheet shows we're debt-free and together with our reserves
and reserve funds, enables us to provide stronger program
funding as opposed to debt charge funding and better
equips Peel to accommodate future growth and maintain
low tax rates."
