The following services are affected by the Christmas and New Year’s holidays.
|Administration Offices||Region of Peel offices and non-emergency services will be closed for the holidays from Dec. 26, 2016 to Jan. 2, 2017, inclusive.|
|Waste Collection: Brampton/ Mississauga||Residents in the Cities of Brampton and Mississauga are reminded that there will be no changes to their waste collection due to the statutory holidays. Please put your waste to the curb on your regularly scheduled collection day.
|Waste Collection Caledon||
Residents in Caledon are advised that there will be no waste collection on Monday, Dec. 26 and Monday, Jan. 3 due to the statutory holiday.
|Exemption Periods||For a two-week period, beginning Dec. 27, 2016 – Jan. 6, 2017, residents may place unlimited amounts of excess acceptable waste at the curb on their scheduled collection day.|
|Community Recycling Centres (CRCs)||All Community Recycling Centres will be closed Monday, Dec. 26, and Monday, Jan. 2, 2017.

|Breastfeeding Clinics||Breastfeeding clinic services at the Peel Public Health Clinic – Meadowvale will be closed Dec. 26 and Jan. 2. All clinics will resume regular hours of operation on Jan. 3.

|Healthy Sexuality Clinics||All Healthy Sexuality Clinics will be closed Dec. 26 to Dec 30; and Jan. 2. All clinics will resume regular hours of operation on Jan. 3.
Public Health Clinics
|Needle Exchange Program||Regular hours of operation for the mobile van Need Exchange Program are 2 to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday. It will be closed from Dec. 26 to 30 and Jan. 2, 2017. The program will resume regular hours of operation on Jan. 3.|
|Dental Services||All dental services offered at Peel Public Health clinics will be closed Dec. 26. Dental Clinics will be open on Dec. 27 to Dec. 30. Regular hours of operation will resume on Jan. 3. Dental services operate by appointment only. To book an appointment, please call 905-799-7700.
|Drinking Water – Private Wells||Peel Public Health will not be accepting water samples as of Monday, Dec. 21, 2015. Regular service will resume on Monday Jan. 4, 2016. Clients can drop off water samples directly to the Public Health Ontario Laboratory – Toronto location located at 81 Resources Rd., Etobicoke.
