Clean air is a priority for the Region of Peel. Poor air quality is a problem that affects your health, even if you are healthy.
We all contribute to air pollution through our use of energy for water, lighting, heating and cooling as well as our transportation choices. However, it is through our combined efforts that we will be able to improve the air we breathe.
The Region is involved in a number of initiatives to improve air quality and to educate residents, businesses and staff on actions they can take. The Clean Air Peel website contains information on today's air quality and smog. It also highlights the Region's various Clean Air Peel initiatives to improve our air quality. The Region is proud to demonstrate its leadership and tell you about the exciting initiatives that are underway.
