- Contact Peel Public Health at 905-799-7700 to book an appointment.
This first appointment is called a “Screening Appointment” and it involves a visual check of the child’s mouth by a Region of Peel Dental Hygienist to determine if the child qualifies for dental services available.

Preventive Dental Services
These dental services help prevent dental problems and keep teeth healthy. Services include cleanings, fluoride and sealants. Services are provided by Region of Peel dental staff after eligibility has been determined.Urgent Dental Treatment
This is also referred to as the Children in Need of Treatment Program (CINOT). It is a program for families without dental insurance. Families may qualify for free dental care if they meet certain criteria. Services are provided by a dentist of the family’s choice after eligibility has been determined.
