Breakfast for Kids

It is very common these days for children to start their day without a good breakfast. Without breakfast, it's hard for a child to learn. There are many reasons why children do not eat breakfast, including our busy lifestyles. Some children are just not ready to eat breakfast before leaving for school.

A growing number of schools and community groups in Peel are providing breakfast for schoolchildren, either free or at a minimal cost.

Representatives from the health department and other local agencies, school boards and corporations, created Peel Community Partners Breakfast for Kids program. This partnership facilitates and obtains support for breakfast programs for children in the Region of Peel.
