Who we’re looking for
Our volunteers play a very important role in enriching our residents’ lives. Each and every family member, friend and community resident who volunteers is a treasured member of our care team.
We’re looking for caring and compassionate people who want to make a difference — people with good communication skills who enjoy being part of a team and can spare as little as one hour per week to spend time with a resident.

We’d love to chat with you about the many interesting volunteer opportunities in our centres, such as:
- One-to-one visits.
- Social and recreation programs and community outings.
- Meal time and eating assistance programs.
- Church services and spiritual programming.
- Gardening.
- Cultural and ethnic programming.
Our multicultural setting
We value diversity and provide care for residents and Adult Day Service (ADS) participants from many different cultures and ethnicities.
We’re especially interested in meeting volunteers who:
- Enjoy working with people of diverse backgrounds.
- Speak Italian, Punjabi, Cantonese, French or any other language in addition to English.
- Represent a cultural group or community.
- Have a unique approach to their work.
