(Brampton) - The Region of Peel will close three roads in the Malton area near Pearson International Airport on April 22, 2001 from 1 P.M. to 5 P.M. for the Baisakhi Parade.
The following roads will be fully or partially closed:
- Airport Road from Steeles Avenue to Derry Road (full closure)
- Derry Road from Airport Road to Dixie Road (westbound lanes closed)
- Dixie Road from Derry Road to Drew Road (full closure).
Goreway Drive will be designated as the detour through the area. Motorists are asked to use alternate routes and to expect delays travelling through this area.
