Watermain Break Forces Lane Closure on Queen Street in Bramption

(Brampton) - At 3:30 a.m. Friday, July 27, Region of Peel Public Works crews reported a watermain break causing repair teams to shut down the east bound inside lane of Queen Street in Brampton from Rutherford Road to the Bramrose Square entrance just before the on-ramp to Southbound Highway 410.

Commuters are advised that the lane closure will cause traffic slow-downs to morning commuters utilizing the Highway 410 South ramp from the eastbound lanes on Queen Street for most of the morning.

Public Works is on site to repair the watermain break and report that the eastbound Queen Street lane closure will be in place likely until noon today.
