Traffic impacts: watermain replacement lane closures in Mississauga
BRAMPTON, ON (December 8, 2023) - Peel Region will be temporary closing lanes on Winston Churchill Boulevard from Dundas Street West to Frankston Road between December 11 and December 20, 2023, to replace watermains.
The lane closures will begin in the morning through the overnight to the next morning and include:
- Intersection of Laird Road and Winston Churchill Boulevard starting at 9 a.m. on December 11 to 7 a.m. on December 12.
- Intersection of Frankston Road and Winston Churchill Boulevard starting at 9 a.m. on December 13 to 7 a.m. on December 14.
- Intersection of Winston Churchill Boulevard north of Dundas Street West starting at 7 a.m. on December 14 to 7 a.m. on December 16.
- Intersection of Laird Road and Winston Churchill Boulevard starting at 9 a.m. on December 18 to 7 a.m. on December 19.
- Intersection of Winston Churchill Boulevard and Dundas Street West starting at 7 a.m. on December 18 to 7 a.m. on December 19.
- Intersection of Winston Churchill Boulevard south and north of Laird Road starting at 7 a.m. on December 19 to 7 a.m. on December 20.
As a major north-south arterial road in Mississauga, the lane closures may increase travel times. Motorists should consider alternate routes.
The exact dates may vary slightly due to unpredictable delays such as weather conditions. Average construction noise is expected. There will be no impact to drinking water for the community.
