Peel Region releases 2023 Year in Review Council Report

Peel Region recognizes highlights and achievements from 2023.

BRAMPTON, ON (Feb. 22, 2024) - Peel Region’s Chief Administrative Officer Gary Kent presented the Year in Review of Peel's 2023 Accomplishments and Awards at Regional Council today. The report recognizes the achievements, financial accomplishments, awards, and recognition received in 2023. This report celebrates the Region's success despite last year's uncertainty, including the introduction of Bill 112 and the possible dissolution of Peel Region.

I am proud to present the 2023 Year in Review of our awards and accomplishments. While 2023 was a challenging year as we navigated uncertainties surrounding Bill 112 and the dissolution of Peel Region, it was also an incredibly successful year for our community.
In 2023, we came together to achieve milestones and maintain exceptional service delivery to meet the needs of the community. I am grateful for the resilience and dedication of Peel Region employees, the community, and to council for their continued support
