Peel Region earns prestigious recognition as one of Canada's Best Employers by Forbes

BRAMPTON, ON (February 28, 2024) – Peel Region proudly announces its inclusion on Forbes' esteemed list of Canada's Best Employers. This recognition highlights Peel's commitment to creating a workplace environment that prioritizes employee well-being, promotes professional growth, and embraces inclusivity despite concerns of a potential dissolution last year.

The annual list released by Forbes in partnership with Statistica Inc., identifies best employers based on independent surveys from over 40,000 Canada-based employees working for companies employing at least 500 people within Canada. Participants were asked to assess their employers across various criteria, including opportunities for advancement, gender pay equity, and managerial effectiveness in overseeing direct reports.

Forbes and Statista selected Canada's Best Employers 2024 through an independent survey from a vast sample of more than 40,000 Canada-based employees from all industry sectors working for companies employing at least 500 people within Canada.
