Council Procedures for Media
Members of the media are welcome to attend Regional Council meetings. All meetings are held in the 5th floor Council Chambers at Regional headquarters - 10 Peel Centre Dr., Suite A, Brampton.
Media seating is located behind the public gallery. Line level audio feeds for recording are available using the following connections: 3.5 mm (1/8") mini jack, RCA jack and XLR. Wired Internet access is available via standard 8P8C LAN/Ethernet connectors. Wireless Internet is not available at this time. Power receptacles are located beside the press feed panels.
Photography is permitted in Council Chambers. If you plan to take photos, please inform the Public Affairs Manager seated with media members so that we can assist you with your photography needs. If you know of your photographic needs prior to a meeting, contact the Public Affairs Manager in advance.
If you wish to gain access to the Council floor during proceedings, alert the Public Affairs Manager who will arrange staff to accompany you.Revised: Monday July 27 2009
