The Region of Peel has initiated a Schedule B Class Environmental Assessment (Class EA) study to provide water infrastructure upgrades to support approved growth in the Mississauga City Centre (MCC) area (See map).
As part of the EA process, alternative alignments and shaft sites will be identified and assessed for the tunnelling construction of the proposed new 1500-mm watermain along Burnhamthorpe Road. This EA process is expected to be completed by summer 2015.
