Reviewing the Official Plan

The Government of Ontario's Planning Act requires all municipalities to review their Official Plan every five years to ensure policies conform to Provincial plans and policy statements and achieve the Region's goals and objectives. The current Regional Official Plan review commenced on May 23, 2013 with a public meeting to discuss revisions that may be required in the Official Plan.
