Planning has undertaken the Transportation Demand
Management Study to examine options to reduce travel
demand. The goal of this initiative is to review
the current position and programs in Peel Region
and to recommend appropriate updated policies/programs
to use more sustainable modes of transportation
such as public transit, carpool, vanpool, bicycle
and walk to reduce vehicle trips.
