Peel's Composting Facility
The Regional composting facility for organics, food and yard waste is located at the Caledon Public Waste and Recycling Depot. The program does not replace backyard composting, but enhances it by letting residents to compost materials that can't be put in home composters.
Organic material is composted in large containers called Herhof Bio-cells.
