Items accepted free of charge:

Dedicated loads of the following items will be accepted free of charge
Beverage and Food Cans and Foil Glass Bottles and Jars
Cardboard and Boxboard Paper Products
Loose loads or kraft paper bags of residential leaf and yard waste (Caledon and Bolton CRCs only) Plastic Bottles, Tubs and Grocery Bags
Empty Aerosol Cans (no plastic lids) Polystyrene
Empty Paint Cans (lids removed) Tires (passenger car and light truck)

Household Hazardous Waste
The CRCs only accept residential household hazardous waste. No industrial, commercial or institutional waste (including professional medical waste) is permitted.
Batteries (all types including lead acid) Fluorescent Light bulbs/tubes and Ballasts
Needles, Syringes and Lancets in Bio-Hazard Containers Propane Tanks (18 kg or 40 lb max)
Mercury Thermometers/Thermostats  
There is an 80L (20 gal) limit per day on the following items:
Acids or Bases Adhesives (all types)
Aerosol Cans (full or partially full) Antifreeze
Brake and Transmission Fluid Cleaners & Detergent
Fire Extinguishers Chlorine
Pool Chemicals Fuels (gas, kerosene, etc)
Motor Oil and Filters Photographic Chemicals
Paints/Stains and Solvents Medication and Pharmaceutical Products
Fertilizers and Pesticides
