Holiday Period Collection Notices
The Region places advertisements in community newspapers and mobile signs throughout Peel to notify you of collection day changes and exemption periods. Our website will also be updated with any collection schedule changes.
Brampton and Mississauga
Residents in the Cities of Brampton and Mississauga are advised that there will be no waste collection on Monday, Feb. 20 due to the Family Day holiday. Garbage and recycling (blue box and green bin) will be collected one day later for the remainder of the week.
The following is a revised waste collection schedule:

Caledon
There will be no change to the waste collection schedule due to the Family Day holiday. Garbage and recycling (blue box and green bin) will be collected on regularly scheduled waste collection days during the week of Feb. 20.
Exemption Periods
The Region of Peel offers three Exemption Periods each year. You may place unlimited quantities of acceptable waste at the curb on your scheduled collection day during the following two-week periods:
