Overfed Lakes

This experiment will introduce students to the concept of euthrophication using plant fertilizer and a fish bowl containing aquatic plants.

Reservoirs: What Goes Up Must Come Down

Students will learn how clean, treated water is delivered to homes, schools and businesses using a system of underground pipes, pumps, and above and below ground storage reservoirs.

Water Cycle Terrarium

Students will build their own miniature terrariums to observe the water cycle processes of evaporation, condensation and precipitation. They will collect data, by recording their observations over time, so as to understand changes as part of the water cycle.
