Toilet Replacement Program for Businesses

The Region of Peel is offering rebates of $60 or $140 to businesses and property owners who replace inefficient toilets (13 or 20 litre) with Peel-Approved water-efficient toilets that flush with 6 litres or less.

The Region of Peel also has a Residential Toilet Replacement Program.

When choosing a new water-efficient toilet, make sure to select a toilet from our Peel-Approved list for businesses.

Why purchase a water-efficient toilet?

Toilets can use a significant amount of water in a facility. By switching to a Peel-Approved water efficient toilet, you will not only receive a $60 or $140 rebate, but also save money on your water bill.

Eligibility

To be eligible for a rebate under the Toilet Replacement Program for Businesses, you must own or operate an existing industrial, commercial or institutional facility in the Region of Peel.

How to Apply for a Rebate

Select a water-efficient toilet(s) from the Peel-Approved list
Purchase and install the toilet(s)
Complete the application form(s):
- Business Application Form (PDF325KB, 2 pages)
- Toilet Installation List (PDF100KB, 1 page)
Attach the original sales receipt for each purchased toilet with the completed application form
We recommend keeping a copy of your completed application form and sales receipts for your records
In the case of multiple toilet replacements, please attach weigh scale bills that confirm the disposal of old toilets at any licensed municipal or provincial waste disposal facility
