    • Peel introduces the Flow | Central Brampton program
      BRAMPTON, ON (May 29, 2025) -, Peel is growing, and we want to ensure our community remains a great place to live, work and play. Peel’s Flow | Central Brampton program will provide essential water and wastewater infrastructure for our communities now and in the future. Through the “, More Homes Built Faster Act, ” (Bill 23), the province has committed to building 1.5 million more homes in Ontario over the next 10 years, with, 113,000 in Brampton, . To meet this goal, Peel must expand our water, wastewater and road infrastructure services faster than ever before—almost five times faster than Peel’s historical growth rate. In response, Peel Council has projected over $1 billion in capital investments to support these services. In 2024, Peel had 3 confirmed cases of measles. Of Peel’s 8 cases, 5 were related to travel, and 3 were from close contacts or community spread.
