(August 10, 2023), – Peel Region has been working in downtown Brampton to replace the aging watermain and sanitary sewer along Queen St. and Main St. to maintain and improve existing water and wastewater services. This work is taking place in stages, moving north from Main St. South through the intersection at Main St. and Queen St., and then continuing north along Main St. North. It will be necessary to…, Traffic impacts: , The intersection of Main St. and Queen St. will be closed to all traffic. This temporary road closure will occur from, 7 a.m. on Monday, August 14, 2023, until as late as 7 p.m. on Friday, September 8, 2023, . To minimize the duration of the road closure, this work will continue, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. However, on evenings with events taking place at Garden Square, there will be no construction.
