Healthy Living ~ Healthy Earth ~ The Power of Community

Star Academy and The Little Green Schoolhouse have partnered together to build a local event to celebrate Earth Day each year and bring together the South Mississauga Communities to raise awareness. Both schools are driven to instill a love of learning and a sense of global citizenship in their students and Eco-Fest is a realization of the educational philosophy in a local, eco-friendly context.

Eco-Fest 2013 is a public, FREE event designed for the whole family to celebrate Earth Day together. The event will feature a Kids EcoZone with activities, sponsored by Active Bodies Active Minds; a FREE Clothing & Toy Swap; E-Waste Collection provided by FCM Recycle and a showcase and sale from over 20 Local, Eco-Friendly businesses!
