Mapping Peel: An exploration of maps from the Peel Archives 10:00 am - 4:30 pm

In recognition of International Map Year (IMY), a worldwide celebration of maps, the Archives will display a variety of historic maps and plans from the collection.

What Kids Wore: Children's Clothing from the Collection 10:00 am - 4:30 pm

This small exhibit features some of the wonderful children’s clothing in the PAMA Museum collection, dating from the mid-19th century until well into the 20th century.

Stephanie Rayner: Boat of Eternal Return 10:00 am - 4:30 pm

This exhibition presents and interprets Rayner’s sculptural installation The Boat of Eternal Return. The 29 foot boat showcases multi-layered meanings touching on the passage of time, life and death, regeneration and reincarnation. This unique piece is a symbol of how imagination can be given shape and form through an array of materials.

Uncover Your Creeks @ Dellwood Park 10:00 am - 12:00 pm

Take action to improve the health of your local watershed with citizen-science activities taking place across the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) and help ensure our waterways remain a vital and functioning part of the urban ecosystem.

• Monitor water quality
• Help manage invasive species in the local ecosystem
• Plant native plants
• Learn about the local ecology of your watershed

Dates: Thursday, May 21, June 18, July 16, August 20
Time: 6–8pm

Location and Meeting Place: Fleetwood Park is located on the south side of Burnhamthorpe Road East between the 427 and Dixie Road in Mississauga (L4X 2S8). An Evergreen staff member will meet volunteers in the parking lot.
