Peel Region Events Calendar

Volunteer and be a part of a team helping to improve the health and biodiversity of Shelby Woods in Mississauga by nurturing existing wildlife habitat with Evergreen and the City of Mississauga.

Tuesday, April 28 and May 26
6–8pm

Event will run rain or shine. Please dress in weather-appropriate clothing, including sturdy (closed-toe) footwear, and bring a water bottle.

Location and Meeting Place
Shelby Woods is located on Rathburn Road East between Willowbank Trail and Westminster Place, behind John Cabot S.S. at 635 Willowbank Trail, Mississauga. The major intersections are Cawthra Road and Rathburn Road East.

Explore the universe with members of the Royal Astronomical Society of Canada. Large telescopes will be set up to give you amazing views of our Moon, the planets and more! Location: Chappell House Lawn. Please note: The event will be held on the first date shown – the second date (April 29) is a back-up date in case skies are not suitable for star-gazing on the scheduled date.
