Join renowned birders Luc Fazio and Dan Salisbury for spring bird watching hikes. Please note that April bird hikes meet at Saddington park (at the foot of Mississauga Road). In May and June, the hikes start from the main parking lot at Riverwood.

The Riverwood Conservancy

Together with 10 organizations serving children and youth in Peel, the Peel Children and Youth Initiative presents the 4th Collaborative State of Mind Conference with a focus on "Bullying Today". We will examine the complex ties between bullying, social media and mental health.

Attend if you work with children or youth in education, social services, at a community agency, with a mental health service provider or in the youth justice field or are interested in greater collaboration for children and youth facing mental health issues.

Speakers include:
Glen Canning, father of Rehteah Parsons
Debra Pepler, PREVNet, Canada's authority on bullying
Jesse Miller, Mediated Reality, navigating students' online environment through internet safety and social media
Peel Police, looking at cyberbullying in Peel today

A performance from Stacey Zegers, Canadian singer songwriter.
Plus, dramatization, art and videos from Peel students.

Attendees will receive a certificate. Breakfast and lunch included.
