Heart Healthy Hike 10:00 am - 11:30 am

Join us for an interesting combination of local information and guided hike on the local trails. The first 45 minutes will be a leisurely stroll with a guest speaker who will provide information on subjects related to nature or local history. Following this you can raise your heart rate with a City of Mississauga hike leader on a fun walking workout in and around Riverwood.

Anne & Maud - A Play Inspired by Lucy Maud Montgomery 3:30 pm - 5:30 pm


Join us at St. Paul’s Anglican Church Parish Hall, where the incomparable Lucy Maud Montgomery staged concerts and plays while living in Norval, Ontario from 1926 to 1935. Share the story of Anne Shirley told alongside glimpses into the life of her creator, Maud. Discover Anne's story anew, while comparing her circumstances and spirit to the genius behind the writing and be moved again by the laughter, joy and love of Montgomery's writing. Join us as we promote the work and legacy of this acclaimed Canadian author, through the magic of theatre!

Performaces run from Friday, October 24th until Sunday, November 16th.

Organ Recital at Streetsville United Church 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm

SUNDAY NOV. 9, 7P.M. - ORGAN RECITAL WITH JOHN SHILLINGBERG: Streetsville United Church is hosting an evening with John Shillingberg performing on our “Tolton” digital organ. In order to demonstrate the versatility and power of our French and newly modified Baroque organ voices he will incorporate pieces by Cesar Franck, J.S. Bach, Leon Boellmann and, accompanied by the Streetsville United Monastery Singers, a Hymn Setting by Nicholas DeGrigney.

Mr. Shillingberg, a graduate of the Peabody Conservatory of Johns Hopkins University, is director of the Toronto Music Academy of Canada and Music Director at Streetsville United. He has performed in numerous piano recitals in U.S.A., Korea and Canada.

Les Misérables 7:30 pm - 11:00 pm

Set in early 19th-century France, Les Misérables is the story of Jean Valjean, a French peasant, and his quest for redemption after serving nineteen years in jail for having stolen a loaf of bread for his starving sister's child. Valjean decides to break his parole and start his life anew after a kindly bishop inspires him by a tremendous act of mercy, but he is relentlessly tracked down by a police inspector named Javert. Along the way, Valjean and a slew of characters are swept into a revolutionary period in France, where a group of young idealists make their last stand at a street barricade.
