Volunteer and dig in as you plant native trees and shrubs at Dixie-HW407 Park. In partnership with the Toronto and Region Conservation Authority (TRCA) and the City of Brampton, work as a team to enhance the integrity of this park by increasing local biodiversity and providing a habitat for local wildlife.
Event will run rain or shine. Please dress in weather-appropriate clothing, sturdy footwear (closed-toe) and bring a water bottle. Evergreen will provide a planting demonstration, gloves, tools and refreshments.
Location and Meeting Place
Dixie–HW407 Park (Dixie & 407 Soccer Fields) is located at 7459 Dixie Road in Brampton. The major intersections are Dixie Road and Highway 407 (South of HW407). The park entrance is located just before the ramp onto HW407 East when travelling North on Dixie Road.
An Evergreen representative will meet you by the gazebo beyond the parking lot. Transit, cycling, walking or carpooling is encouraged. If driving, parking is available in the parking lot. Please use the designated walkway.
