Volunteer and dig in as you plant native trees and shrubs at Valleywood Park. In partnership with the Toronto and Region Conservation Authority (TRCA) and the City of Brampton, work as a team to enhance the integrity of this park by increasing local biodiversity and providing a habitat for local wildlife. Everyone is welcome!
A planting demonstration will be provided, along with gloves, tools, and light refreshments. Event will run rain or shine. Please dress in weather-appropriate clothing, including sturdy (closed-toe) footwear, and bring a water bottle.
Location and Meeting Place: Valleywood Park is located at 3324-3448 Mayfield Road in Brampton. The major intersections are Kennedy and Mayfield Road. Our meeting place will be by the Etobicoke Creek Trail just off Mayfield Road (north side) where an Evergreen representative will meet you. Transit, cycling, walking or carpooling is encouraged.
