Garlic Mustard Task Force 9:00 am - 12:00 pm

If you want volunteer hours, to go outside, or just enjoy the environment, come out and join the Garlic Mustard Task Force! The program runs every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 4pm to 7pm, and Saturdays 9am to 12pm. There are no pulls on Saturday May 24th and May 31st.. No previous experience necessary. Please bring close-toed shoes and your enthusiasm! Please meet at the toolshed near the Chappell house located at 4300 Riverwood Park Lane L5C 2S7

Brampton Horticultual Society's annual Plant Sale features a great selection of hardy & specialty perennials, annuals, vegetables & native plants.

Brampton Rotaract Water Walk 10:00 am - 12:00 pm

Please join us on May 17th 2014 at Chinguacousy Park (trail right behind the Fire Station, Central Park Drive & Queen St East) in Brampton. From 10AM to 12Noon, our Rotaract Club will be hosting this city's first ever Water Walk!

This event celebrates the culmination of many months of raising awareness of water issues internationally and locally. It is a free way to show your support, a simple walk around the park with our club, many community supporters, family and friends.

We have teamed up with Tin Roof Global to raise funds to build a water well in Uganda and create a sustainable project that will greatly assist a community in need of social development on their own terms.

We hope to see you there! Kindly invite your family and friends as well.

Prizes will be available for the top 3 donors!!!

Victoria Day Amusements 4:00 pm - 10:00 pm

Chinguacousy Park will be offering a variety of amusement rides to celebrate the Victoria Day long weekend. There will also be paddle boats, petting zoo, mini golf and refreshments. Residents are reminded that fireworks are strictly prohibited in City parks.
