Trees of Riverwood 9:30 am - 11:30 am

From diminutive dogwoods to towering white pines, long-time naturalist Richard Aaron will introduce you to some of the common trees and shrubs found at Riverwood, along with a rich helping of facts and lore. Meet at the main parking lot by the MacEwan Terrace Garden.

ReRooted in Play Family Fun Session 10:00 am - 12:00 pm

The Ecosource ReRooted in Play program celebrates gardens as places to learn about healthy bodies and healthy environments, and (of course) places to play and explore!

Sessions are FREE and will include games, free snacks, garden learning and take-home activities for all participants.

Malton Community Festival 10:00 am - 4:00 pm

The Malton Community Festival will be celebrating 10 years on Saturday June 20th at Wildwood Park from 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM. Bring your family and friends for a fun-packed day of entertainment, children’s and family crafts, sports and activities, and more! This is a free event. Some highlights of the Festival include a BBQ and vegetarian food selections, community displays and booths, a Petting Zoo, a Bouncy Castle, children’s and seniors’ games, youth sports activities, a photo gallery and cultural performances.
As part of the Festival, we are also pleased to present Family Movie Night on Friday June 19, @ 7PM! – check our website for details of a night everyone will enjoy.
