In this special matinee performance, the City of Brampton Concert Band will take you across the pond for an afternoon of British music, in traditional Prom style. From Edward Elgar and Gustav Holst all the way to the Beatles and Andrew Lloyd Webber, this will be a right royal afternoon out.
Special guests, The Weston Silver Band, on of Canada's pre-eminent brass bands, will perform a number of selections on their own and with the concert band, including an incredible performance of "Rule Brittania" featuring euphonium soloist, Robert Miller.
No proms concert would be complete without singing. And who better to lead the audience in song than the choir Justus. We are thrilled that are able to join us and look forward to combining forces with them, and with the Weston Silver Band, for a brilliant mass performance!
