Under the Integrated Accessibility Standards Regulation (IASR) of the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act, 2005 (AODA), all persons who provide goods, services, or facilities on behalf of the Region of Peel must be trained on the requirements of the IASR and the Ontario Human Rights Code.
The Region of Peel is committed to ensuring that persons of all abilities are able to access our programs and services without encountering barriers. This means that businesses and individuals that provide goods or services on behalf of the Region must ensure that their employees are trained on both of these standards.
The following is a list of training resources that can be used at no charge. Providers of goods and services on behalf of the Region of Peel must track the training of their employees and may be asked to produce a record of completed training upon request.
