Sustainable transportation is any way of getting from place-to-place with little or no effect on the environment.

Launched on June 14, 2005, Smart Commute Brampton-Caledon:

  • Is a Transportation Management Association (TMA) and organization that promotes commuter options and transportation services to employers.
  • Promotes sustainable transportation.
  • Aims to reduce traffic and fight climate change by encouraging people to use more environmentally friendly ways of travelling in and around Brampton and Caledon.
  • Works with employers to provide easier, less stressful ways for employees to get to and from work.

We ran survey to see if we’re meeting the needs of employers, property owners/managers and employees in Brampton and Caledon.

In the next 30 years, 55% more people are expected to live in Peel. So we need start finding new ways to make traffic move faster and better now.
