Birdwatching Hike 9:00 am - 11:00 am

Welcome to the exciting world of birdwatching! Join us on a guided hike through Claireville Conservation Area to learn how to use binoculars and identify local bird species. A limited number of binoculars will be available, so please bring your own pair. This event will run rain or shine. Dress for the weather and wear appropriate foot wear. Join us for one or all Karma Yoga sessions, designed to enhance your mind, body and spirit!

Community Wildflower Stewardship | Heart Lake Conservation Area 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm

Volunteer and work as a team to plant native wildfloers at Heart Lake Conservation Area in Brampton and increase local pollinator habitat with Evergreen, Toronto and Region Conservation and the City of Brampton.

6–8pm

This event runs rain or shine. Please dress in weather-appropriate clothing, including sturdy (closed-toe) footwear and bring a water bottle. Evergreen will provide Invasive species removal techniques, gloves and tools.

Weekly Evening Walks 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm

Get active this summer on these free weekly one hour guided walks. Come dressed to exercise and wear supportive footwear. Make it a habit!

Every Thursday from May 7 to August 27 at The Riverwood Conservancy, 4300 Riverwood Park Lane, Mississauga, ON, L5C 2S7 (meet at main parking lot)
Every Tuesday from May 5 to August 25 at Erindale Park, 1695 Dundas Street West, Mississauga, ON, L5L 1C6 (meet at Dundas Street entrance)

In addition to the Tuesday and Thursday night Weekly Walks, the South Common Fitness Centre is pleased to offer the following free fitness activities*. Dates and times will vary.
Free to drop in “Try It” fitness classes (such as Zumba, Yoga and Nordic Walking).
Free speaker series with topics on Health and Fitness (such as nutrition and training).
Information on how you can Hike the Bruce Trail with a Certified Hike Leader.
