The northernmost part of the Eastern Deciduous forest, known as the Carolinian Zone in Canada, hosts numerous native wildflowers found nowhere else in the country. Many of these species are endangered due to loss of habitat, or years of over-harvesting from the wild. Join Nina Barabas, co-author of Wildflowers of Riverwood, who will explore the impacts of including them in our gardens. Could we change their fate?
