Carassauga 2013: Ontario’s Largest Multicultural Festival All Day

Your chance to travel the world is back with much more to see and do! Visit over 72 countries in just three days without leaving the city!

Carassauga Festival of Cultures, Canada’s second largest multicultural festival, is gearing up for its 28th celebration taking place throughout Mississauga on May 24, 25, and 26, 2013.

Experience the tastes, sights and sounds of countries across the globe in 28 Pavilionslocated across Mississauga. Watch folklore dances, indulge your palate with culinary dishes and purchase art, artifacts and fashion from the four corners of the earth!

Kids can come and enjoy fun-filled activities at the Kids Zone located at the Hershey Sports Centre soccer field to participate in games, energizing activities and children’s entertainment! Kids can also meet Carassauga’s Mascot Carra and have their picture taken with him.

Admission: Visitors are granted entry with a Carassauga Passport that will be stamped as they move from Pavilion to Pavilion.

Early bird: $10.00- purchase Passport online in advance for a chance to win a travel prize!
Purchase Passport at the door: $12.00
Free for kids under 12 – must be accompanied by an adult Passport holder

-Passport must be picked up at the Carassauga Office between Monday to Friday from 10 – 6 pm

-New Pavilions with more entertainment, attractions and opportunities for fun!
-Carassauga welcomes Brazil, Korea, Slovakia and Thailand to our Festival family.
-Marketplace
is the newest addition to the Festival, providing a central destination for visitors to shop for an array of goods and products at Carassauga’s own global marketplace.
- “Simply the Best” on May 24th, 2013 at 9:00 pm at the Hershey Sports Centre, Outdoor stage. If you are a Tina Turner fan, you are going to love “Simply the Best”, a tribute show which recreates the excitement and music of Tina Turner. Free admission with a Passport.

William Osler's Seniors' fair 10:00 am - 2:00 pm

Join us at our Community Senior’s Fair!

William Osler Health System, in collaboration with its Foundation, is holding a senior’s fair to help raise awareness of the community health resources that are available for seniors and their families in this region.

All funds raised during the event will go towards the redesign of “Senior Friendly Rooms” at Brampton Civic Hospital’s Emergency Department!

The event will take place at the Brampton Soccer Center located at 1495 Sandalwood Parkway East in the main lobby.

Erindale Park Planting and Stewardship Event 10:00 am - 12:00 pm

Join Evergreen and the City of Mississauga to celebrate World Biodiversity as we maintain Erindale Park and plant native trees and shrubs. Everyone is welcome!

Enhance the integrity of this park by nurturing wildlife habitat and increasing biodiversity! Event will run rain or shine.

Erindale Park is located in the north corner of Mississauga Road and Dundas Street West. An Evergreen representative will meet you at the first parking lot. Transit, carpooling, cycling or walking is encouraged; however, parking is available.
