



The Student Health 2005 report summarizes the results from the School Health Assessment Survey, the largest survey of health behaviours of children aged 12 to 19 years ever conducted in Canada.
This survey was designed by Peel Health in collaboration with its partners in education, the Peel District School Board and the Dufferin-Peel Catholic District School Board. Data were collected from a sample of over 7,000 children in grades 7 to 12 during the spring and fall of 2004.
The data collected from this survey and summarized in this report will be used to support and plan programs that protect and improve the health of Peel’s school-age children.
