Outbreak Notification

The Region of Peel LTC Centres have been identified as being in the Grey-Lockdown level. As a result control measures, screening measures and testing requirements for LTC homes located in a public health unit in the Grey-Lockdown level are in effect for staff, caregivers and support workers as per the Minister's Directive.

General Visitors - Currently on hold until further notice, effective November 23, 2020, per the Minister’s Directive.

Tall Pines: 1st floor and 3rd floor in confirmed outbreak.

Malton Village: facility-wide outbreak.

Peel Manor: facility-wide outbreak.

A COVID-19 outbreak is defined as one or more cases (staff or resident) in the home. Visit Peel Long Term Care COVID-19 for up-to-date case numbers and information.

Respiratory Gastrointestinal
  • Runny nose
  • Stuffy nose
  • Sneezing
  • Sore throat
  • Difficulty swallowing
  • Hoarseness
  • Dry cough
  • Congested cough
  • Chills
  • Muscle aches
  • Fever > 37.5 degrees Celsius or 99.5 degrees Fahrenheit
  • Shortness of breath
  • Sputum production
  • Chest pain
  • Increased rate of breathing (> 25 breaths per minute)
  • Fatigue or loss of appetite
  • Swollen lymph nodes
  • Increased confusion
  • Diarrhea
  • Nausea
  • Vomiting
  • Stomach cramps
  • Fever > 37.5 degrees Celsius or 99.5 degrees Fahrenheit
