Where Does Your Waste Go? Find Out at the Region of Peel’s Community Fun Day: June 23
BRAMPTON, ON. (June 12, 2018) – Do you ever wonder where your waste goes after it’s picked up? Find out at the Region of Peel’s free Community Fun Day on Saturday, June 23 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Dress down and bring the whole family to the Peel Integrated Waste Management Facility at 7795 Torbram Rd. in Brampton. We have lots of fun and freebies for everyone.
What’s happening?
- We’ll provide some demonstrations and test your recycling knowledge with our waste sorting game. You can also visit our many information booths and check out our collection vehicles up close.
- With a food or textile donation, you can pick up some free compost.
- The first 250 visitors can join us for a free BBQ and there will many other great giveaways including a grand prize.
- Children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult. The recycling facility is wheelchair accessible.
Please note: 7795 Torbram Rd. will only be accessible from Steeles Avenue, due to road closures. To access the facility entrance for the event, proceed through road closure barrier just south of Steeles Avenue.
