What are we doing?

Upgrading the Wastewater Treatment Plant that services the Town of Inglewood.

Why

To provide reliable performance of the treatment of sewage servicing the Town of Inglewood.

To construct standby equipment to ensure uninterrupted operation during power failures.

Increase standby capacity and redundancy of the plant.

Increase the site space to allow for a safer and proper operation of the facility.

When

Construction is anticipated to start late Fall of 2021 and is expected to take 2 years to complete.

How will the construction impact my Neighbourhood?

The construction will take place at the treatment plant as shown on the attached map, away from McLaughlin Road. The construction areas will be fenced off from the public.

Residents of Inglewood should expect to see a small increase in truck traffic on McLaughlin Road.

Pedestrians and cyclists on the Caledon Trailway Path should be aware of trucks and heavy machinery crossing the path.
