Project updates
- We have finished the work. The project is under warranty until December 2023

Where is the work happening?
- On King St, approximately 300m east of the Gore Road - View area map (PDF).
What are we doing?
- The work includes:
- Removal of existing concrete culverts and installation of precast box culverts, removal of existing asphalt and reconstruction of roadway
When?
- We expect to start construction in May 2021 and finish in October 2021
Working Hours
- Graham Bros. Construction Limited has been contracted to complete the work on the Region’s behalf. Hours of operation are from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., Monday to Friday and work may also be done on Saturdays.
- These hours follow the city’s by-laws. Extended working hours may cause some inconvenience to the public however will help facilitate completion of the project as quickly as possible.
Traffic Control
- The project will be phased to minimize traffic disruption while maintaining a safe working environment as required under the Occupational Health and Safety Act.
- The existing 2 lanes of traffic flows will be maintained for most of the time during construction
- Emergency access will be maintained at all times.
- Please use caution when travelling through the work zone.
Driveway Access
- We will maintain driveway access as much as possible and if we need to block your driveway for a short time you will be contacted to arrange for the best time
