Please donate to the CCS Santa Fund All Day

The holiday season is upon us, a time full of joy and excitement, shopping and eating. For most of us, we hardly think of what’s beyond our own gift-wrapped presents.

Your family can make the warmth of the holidays last all year.

As always, CCS’ Santa Fund will distribute donations of food and new toys this holiday season. Even more importantly, CCS will provide things like home heating, medical prescriptions, emergency expenses and counselling to 200 Caledon families, including up to 300 children.

Donate online at www.ccs4u.org or call Nicole Dumanski at 905.584.2300 ext 236.

Workshop: Board Governance – You're on the right track. Now, prove it 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm

Performance measurement is key for boards to better understand their role, and can provide valuable information on each board's weaknesses and strengths.

All boards differ in terms of their levels of engagement, board-staff relations, and roles and responsibilities. Measuring the board's strengths and areas for improvement enables the organization to more efficiently deliver its mission, identify areas for targeted board recruitment and potential funding sources.

In this workshop, the last of a four-part Board Governance series, you will be introduced to concepts and models of measurement; the role of measurement in strategic planning; setting the right benchmarks and reviewing performance for the key people in your organization in order to be effective and efficient.

Date: Thursday, December 13, 2012
Time: 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
