CRC

Driveway sealer and containers

This item is considered household hazardous waste (HHW). Use all of the product for its intended use.

HHW MUST NOT be included in your residential curbside garbage, recycling collection, placed at the curb or poured down the drain. HHW, if not disposed of properly, can be harmful to people, animals, and the environment.

Full or partially-full metal and plastic containers

If the driveway sealer container is full- or partially-full, take it to the Household Hazardous Waste Depot at a Peel Community Recycling Centre (CRC) for proper disposal, free of charge.

Note: Maximum 80 litres per day allowed.

Empty metal containers

If the driveway sealer container is metal, bring it to a CRC and dispose of it in the CRC metal bin. This disposal is free of charge.

Do not put an empty metal driveway sealer container in your recycling. Empty metal driveway sealer containers are not collected from the curb.

Empty plastic containers

If the driveway sealer container is plastic, put it in your garbage.

Alternatively you can bring an empty plastic container to a CRC and dispose of it in the CRC garbage bin. A charge will apply.
