Headwaters Arts Festival All Day

Make a day trip to Caledon and points just beyond for the Headwaters Arts Festival, 19 days of exciting events, including a juried art show and sale that features more than 45 local artists, open studios, literature readings, studio tours, concerts and workshops for both kids and adults.

Armchairs, Authors and Art is a one-of-a-kind literary event that brings some of Ontario’s (and Canada’s) most-celebrated writers to the Headwaters region. This year’s roster is filled with major writing award nominees and winners:

- Hugh Brewster (RMS Titanic) – Silver Birch and Red Cedar nominee; Children’s Literature of Canada Information Book Award winner; Norma Fleck Award winner
- Miranda Hill (Sleeping Funny) – Writer’s Trust Journey Prize winner
- Linden MacIntyre (Why Men Lie) – Giller Prize winner; Libris Fiction Book of the Year winner
- Emily Schultz (The Blondes, a recent Maclean’s top-10) – Trillium Book Award and Trillium Prize for Poetry finalist; shortlisted for the Danuta Gleed Award for Best First Fiction in Canada

The event will be held at the SGI Canada Caledon Centre for Culture and Education in Alton.
