Headwaters Arts Festival All Day

Caledon Farmers' Market 8:00 am - 1:00 pm

The Caledon Farmers’ Market has been bringing locally grown and produced foods and other items to the residents and visitors of Caledon since 2009!

It features an assortment of locally grown and produced foods as well as arts and crafts made by local artisans.

There are weekly themes, events and activities for people of all ages.

Conservation Day, hosted by the Region of Peel, offers residents the opportunity to safely drop off their household waste, electronics, confidential fine paper for shredding and reusable items that are in good condition.

Caring for Your Land and Water Workshop: A Free Workshop for Rural Lan 9:00 am - 12:00 pm

At this workshop rural landowners will be introduced to and led through the Your Guide to Caring for the Credit Handbook which will give them the tools and resources to best manage their properties. CVC’s knowledgeable staff will be there to assist participants through the completion of worksheets on special interest topics such as forests, wetlands, septic systems, water wells and landscaping. Participants come away from the workshop prepared to create an action plan for the land and water on their property and with an understanding of the programs and services offered to rural landowners by CVC.

Registration is required. Your lot, concession and township are required for registration. Landowners should own one acre or more of rural property. Call 1-800-668-5557 x 436.

Light refreshments will be provided. Participants receive custom property maps, the handbook and a free homeowner stewardship kit.

Registration deadline is September 24th.

Join Evergreen and the City of Mississauga as we plant native trees and shrubs at your local park!

Applewood Hills Greenbelt is located near the major intersection of Tomken Rd and Eastgate Pkwy in Mississauga, north of Rathwood Park. Meeting location for the event is off of Willowbank Trail, in between Preston Trail and Highgate Place. Please park in designated areas along the residential road.
