October 18 is Child Care Worker and Early Childhood Educator Appreciation Day.
We would like to acknowledge the dedicated early childhood professionals who care for Peel children and families.
Early childhood educators are trained experts in early childhood development. They help Peel’s youngest minds develop and thrive through child-centred, play-based learning.
We need early childhood professionals because they’re essential to our economy. Those working in licensed child care make it possible for parents to work outside of their home, knowing their children are safely cared for.
In addition to providing quality licensed child care, early childhood professionals support families through EarlyON programs so families and their children can learn and grow together.
