Nando Iannicca Reappointed as Region of Peel Chair

Brampton, ON. (November 17, 2022) - Today, Regional Council unanimously reappointed Nando Iannicca as the Regional Chair for the 2022–2026 term. Chair Iannicca served as the Chair during the previous term of Regional Council from 2018 to 2022.

The Regional Chair is the head of Regional Council and the Chief Executive Officer of the Regional Municipality of Peel. The Chair represents Peel and its residents on matters of Regional interest, provides leadership to Regional Council and presides over Regional Council meetings. The Chair champions Peel’s interests with residents, businesses and other levels of government.
