Easter Holiday service hours at the Region of Peel

Brampton, ON (April 8, 2020) – To help protect the public from COVID-19, Regional offices and services will remain closed until further notice. View the full listing of affected services.

Some of our offices have been providing limited services by telephone on an emergency needs basis. As a reminder, all appointments are over the phone, so please do not come into Regional offices. If you have documents that you would like to drop off rather than mail or email, there are drop boxes located outside the entrances of our Regional buildings.

These services will be affected by the Easter / Good Friday holiday:

The Peel Works Needle Exchange Program (PWNEP) Mobile Van will be closed on Friday, April 10, and Sunday, April 12. Services will operate from 4 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. and by calling or texting (645) 225-1623 on Saturday, April 11 and reopen Easter Monday, April 13. Harm reduction supplies are also available during regular operating hours at the Fairview clinic.

Healthy Sexuality Fairview Clinic services – testing, treatments, doctor assessments are by appointment only. For vaccine pick-up, harm reduction and birth control, no appointments are needed.

All Community Recycling Centres will be closed on Friday, April 10 and Sunday, April 12 for the holiday. They will reopen on Saturday, April 11 and return to regular schedules on Easter Monday, April 13 except the Bolton location, which reopens Tuesday, April 14.

TransHelp – Specific trips for Good Friday, April 10 and Saturday, April 11 must be booked by 6 p.m. on Thursday, April 9.

Flexible trips will not be accommodated after 6 p.m. on Thursday, April 9 or any time of day on Good Friday, April 10 and Saturday, April 11.

On Good Friday, April 10:

The Peel Art Gallery, Museum and Archives (PAMA) is closed. However, families can participate in the PAMA@Home online program. Check out PAMA’s Online Games featuring PAMA’s family characters Coco and Wellington. Download the Coco and Wellington colouring sheet, great for young ones and the young at heart!

For emergencies related to food, emergency shelter, medication or personal support, call the Region of Peel at 905-791-7800.
